@Max_Stoic Yea the traditional spectrum of left to right has been distorted - is it a good thing to stick to the guiding principles of a certain political position or is it better to go with the times adapt and create policy to the situation. Will find out as the the consequences unfold.

@DesGill2 Fair point, and on the surface yes the Tories or Liberals are further right than Labour. But looking at their policies themselves, there is nothing conservative about them especially since the pandemic started. We just have multiple parties for the left nowadays.

The left's willingness to ignore this throughout the entirety of the pandemic needs to be remembered. Worth noting the incredibly loose definition of a Covid related death here in the UK as well.
