@Vex_D1 Right, but there is 0 reason to sit there farming thrall for hours on end, genuinely one of the most useless flexes ever.
I also never said anything about the tier system, I agree it has many flaws but that doesn't mean i'm going to avoid earning any tiered weapon of value to me
English

@Descendant_V That's the whole point of the leveling system you have to earn your enhanced perks & invest time.
Tell me how tier 5 weapons have 6 enhanced perks, enhanced barrels/mags & mods (didn't exist on adepts) & you don't have to do anything.
Bungie caters to casuals

Zavala is indeed impressed by your performance and celebrates that his Community Challenge of 15 million PvE enemies defeated has been met in just five days.
In light of this, he has escalated his Commander's Orders: reach 50 million PvE enemy defeats using the Vanguard-issued weapons he listed before reset time on May 12 to earn an additional, unreleased emblem for all participating Guardians.
We'll reveal the second emblem in this week's TWID!
English

@A_dmg04 Which is the best PvE one? Anybody? Dmg we really need a way to get old pvp comp weapons. Solemn Remembrance, etc.
English

@Dinkstr_ @KryDotExe True but it’s not like Bungie hasn’t been plenty clear about when we will get more info about the June update, some ppl are acting like we’ve heard nothing whatsoever
English

@KryDotExe Obviously the vocal minority affects the silent majority. But it’s not unfair to say the state D2 has been left in is unacceptable and the 8 month wait for the roadmap is even worse. There’s a fine line between buckling down and absolute radio silence.
English

@ExoSmack He used to be fun to watch, but I lost interest when he started spreading misinfo about boss health changes post final shape
English

@JuicyBrack @SkyAsassino @MothbornCultist @A_dmg04 That’s all the more reason to stretch it out, I doubt they would try to say it’s for “stability” unless the loot redesign isn’t complete for some of the raids
English

@Descendant_V @SkyAsassino @MothbornCultist @A_dmg04 Though it's not that smart since they have already delayed months for this. If then they say it's for stability's sake conversion needs to be rolled out by week then that might make some sense. If we have to wait for month for one another update then they simply suck.
English

I’m personally waiting for the tiered armor sets. Getting some Desert Perpetual runs done in the meantime.
That said, your choice! If you want to collect deepsights and finish up your crafted collection, go for it. Get some buds together now for a couple Raids, or chill ‘till June.
Opinion Guy@RoughingMahomes
@A_dmg04 Hey, I’m just curious if ALL raid and dungeon weapons are getting tiered in June or if it’s worth farming for the crafted weapons from the raids right now?
English

@JuicyBrack @SkyAsassino @MothbornCultist @A_dmg04 Considering that’s exactly how the handled Age of Triumph at the end of D1, nobody should be surprised, but also considering the sheer volume of stuff getting reprised releasing them at a rate of 1 raid and dungeon per week is the smart thing to do.
English

@SkyAsassino @MothbornCultist @A_dmg04 For the current status, if they fail to convert all RaD into tiered at once in June and announce it would be done gradually instead, I won't be even surprised
English

@LowmanLegend Was it proven to have been a thing dating back to forsaken? I heard conflicting accounts
English

Remember when people were complaining about perk weighting and Bungie tweeted out that there was no perk weighting, then the community mathematically proved there was and they just went

Im hearing news of Bungie putting SBMM into a game that is currently bleeding out players after the same system irreparably ruined the other game they implemented it
English

@rich_drummerboy @drj1996 @A_dmg04 See id just wait until it’s been a full year before claiming it’s been a year of an unfulfilled promise, but that’s just me
English

@Descendant_V @drj1996 @A_dmg04 I mean it was almost 8 months ago which...I'd personally round to a year lol
English

@Descendant_V @drj1996 @A_dmg04 They said roadmap and state of the game in 2026, and folks are fiending for it bad. I don't blame them though, I'd love to know more about the future of the game.
English

@A_dmg04 Crimils gun model is too bulky for my liking, but I just liked the feel of steady hand the most as far as 120s go.
English

Looking for some additional context on IB Feedback
Re: Crimil's Dagger vs Steady Hand
Talk to me, which one do you prefer? Any specific reasons why? Look, feel, sound? Both are kinetic 120, so if you don't particularly lean one way or the other no worries.
Alt note: Saw some chatter of "literally no one is asking about finite impactor, why was this in the TWID?"
Tuesday we saw quite a few questions across our accounts, I also had some folks in my replies poking at it. As it was the last IB loot addition and was available for a fairly limited time, wanted to hit it quick to say it'll be coming back. Hear you on the desire to hear more about alt topics. Just wanted to touch on that as we had the info on hand. <3
Appreciate the feedback, as always.
English

@A_dmg04 I think the part that sucks the most is the fact that systems to alleviate this problem exist (weapon / armor attunement), but are barely implemented throughout the game.
English

Re: Iron Banner Drops
1. Hear you on drop rates for Auto Rifle.
Portal drops/bonus engrams are focused on general Crucible loot, feels to overwhelm the IB drops. Some players feel armor is dropping too frequently, others feel weapons are too frequent while hunting for a perfect stat split on Armor.
Won't be able to touch this before reset.
Reco for folks hunting more Auto Rifle rolls: Spend tokens from Daily/Weekly challenges on additional drops.
2. Finite Compactor: Will be retuning in June.
3. Score bonus for wearing IB Ornaments: Ornaments currently do not count, only actual IB armor pieces - should be fixed for next IB.
English

@ChaosHusk The revisionist history people will present in favor of D1 is mind boggling to me.
English

@MidenaUnknown @crazysztof @LukeCB14 I ran the -50 GM then did a few -30 fireteam ops and the difference was wild, -30 is not hard at all 😭
English

@crazysztof @LukeCB14 This sounds like you have a case of “skill issue” cuz I’ve had no problem with most of the difficulty in the matchmade activities. It just requires the BARE MINIMUM of buildcrafting to see what is gonna do the most damage to you
English

@VTRaven @KnownAsSys @namename778 So why is it fair to punish the more dedicated player over the more casual player? Abandoning SBMM doesn’t immediately mean all the “sweaty” players go straight to nothing but bot lobbies to torment jimbob with 16 jobs and 24 kids and can only play 25 minutes a day
English

@Descendant_V @KnownAsSys @namename778 I get that nobody disagrees that it makes the hardcore sweat lobbies sweaty. But lack of SBMM punishes those that aren't good at the game by putting them up against sweats that are. So it sucks for someone either way.
English

This entirely the fault of sbmm, btw
Solo@YT_Solo
Video games went downhill the day that people got scared to play against the tryhards instead of being hyped to try and beat them
English

@VTRaven @KnownAsSys @namename778 SBMM punishes those who are good at the game by forcing them to play “sweaty” for lack of a better term in day to day gamemodes like control or iron banner. This is not a fun experience for them, hope this helps.
English

Wasn't alot of that disproven with the CoD data?
Really the only ones hurt by it were streamers and ultra sweats? Your average gamer that wasnt running a 5.0kd was actually having fun and playing more often.
And your "hit clips" comment proves a point alot of pro-SBMM players have. That sweats just want easy kills and sbmm denys them that. Remember during covid howal the streamers were using VPNs to get "bot lobbies" so they could hit easy clips? That didnt bode well for the anti-sbmm crowd.
Also being against sbmm directly contradicts your second point. If top tier players cared about improving themselves SBMM would be beneficial as it prevents 3.0kds from being match with .3 kds which does nothing to help the 3.0 player improve when the .3 has the reaction of a snail. Instead they dont want that, they want easy kills to hit clips.
Matches more stressful for the top tier players because they trend heavy into meta territory for clips and k/d.
Where as dump that 5.0 into a room full of .5s and then who's match is more stressful and unfun? The 5.0 racking up kills or the .5s getting spawn camped?
This is why I played Starcraft and SC2 as my competitive game. Its 1v1, and you HAVE to be better than your opponent and you cant farm newbies to pad your stats. Unless you were a lousy good for nothin smurf. If you were diamond or master rank, you played other diamond and master ranks. You didnt bitch that you couldn't go farm a silver rank for easy wins. You dailed in, perfected your APMs, reacted to your enemy, hit your micros and fought for the win.

the rocket and trace look so fire too bad they'll fucking suck
