I understand your argument is that they should have been subjected to more opportunities to get injured, my point is that it was a good thing that everyone had a chance to not be.

The problem is that anomalous seasons bring out the hypotheticals more than any other so people are exponentially more eager to use them to dismiss it altogether

@Deshevanel @ThatmanBa @colincowherd Yes, but that chance benefitted the older, constantly broken down AD and LBJ more than it benefitted the younger, healthier teams like the Heat, Celtics and Nuggets.
In the 18-19 season and 20-21 seasons, neither were healthy. But magically, both were healthy in 19-20. 🤔

I feel like that’s part of what’s missing in the league right now, injuries dragging the competition down constantly. They got a break to recover, then got to play fewer games with zero air travel.
And guess what happened the next year…both were injured. LBJ played 45 and AD played 36.

They were granted a short season, no travel, no fans. There was zero chance they would have won with a conventional schedule. That ring is garbage.
