Singapore PM, on May 1st, said their country needs to prepare for food, fertilizer, and fuel shortages. PM Modi too, just a few days back, said India needs to prepare for difficult times similar to Covid-19.
Responsible countries and their responsible leaders prepare their countries and citizens like this. I would be more worried if PM Modi or GoI acted all cool and as if India's all set for political posturing.

I will continue to stack Gold, will do more road trips in my German petrol SUV which gives 6kmpl, will travel abroad at least 2-3 times a year (one already done this year), call all my staff to office everyday (canceling hybrid model).
I'd like to first see him & entire cabinet fly in commercial airline, travel in single car (no convoy) while not blocking the roads and using Indian car. Also, he must stop going abroad himself first.

During PM @narendramodi Hyderabad visit today, the initially planned helicopter landing arrangements at HiTex/HICC were changed after it was brought to his notice that the wedding of BRS MLC Sri M.C. Koti Reddy’s son, Mr. Ajith Reddy, with Ms. Laxmi Sowjanya, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal was scheduled at the same venue.
The wedding arrangements had been made well in advance with invitations already distributed to nearly 5,000 guests.
Understanding the inconvenience that last-minute security arrangements could cause to the family and guests on such a special occasion, the Prime Minister chose an alternative arrangement and travelled nearly 18 km by road instead.
The gesture reflects PM Modi ji’s compassionate, considerate and humane leadership, always putting public above and beyond any political differences.

BJP Corporator in BMC @MNarwekar has raised a loot in the BMC
A Rs. 62 crore tender for the installation of LED lights beneath city skywalks was awarded to a firm blacklisted by the Thane Municipal Corporation. The very same lights available for Rs. 700 on the Government e-Marketplace were procured by the BMC at Rs. 9,600 per unit.
He has asked, “How does a blacklisted firm get awarded such a high ticket contract? Who approved this? And why were Mumbai’s taxpayers made to pay nearly 14 times the market price?”
A report on the same has to be now presented within 15 days.

एक बुजुर्ग दादाजी सड़क किनारे अपनी पूरी ताकत लगाकर मुँह से गुब्बारे फुला रहे थे ताकि दो वक्त की रोटी कमा सकें। तभी एक नौजवान ने सिर्फ अपनी "मस्ती" के लिए पीछे से आकर सारे गुब्बारे फोड़ दिए।
उस गरीब बुजुर्ग का दर्द: "बेटा, आधे घंटे की मेहनत एक पल में बर्बाद कर दी। ₹200 का पंप खरीदने की हैसियत होती तो फेफड़ों का दम न निकालता।"
सबक: किसी की गरीबी का मजाक उड़ाना आपकी परवरिश दिखाता है। अगर आप किसी का सहारा नहीं बन सकते, तो उसकी मेहनत छीनने का हक भी आपको नहीं है। 🙏
