@kligris Interesting. MA did not have a universal mail in voting system in 2016 so it’s unclear to me how you got anything in the mail when the state was literally not sending anything at the time.

@kligris No where in my response did I call you a Fraud. I live in MA, as you know. I experienced the same situation where I received multiple applications to apply for a mail in ballot. I chose to throw them all away and vote in person.

@kligris Great, so elections are often decided on razor thin margins. You cannot get a ballot from a polling location unless your name is the ledger that Barbara thumbs through and confirms that you know your address. Tell me, how do you get listed in that ledger?

Detailed analyses (like of digitized 1800s-1900s books in training corpora) show they use em dashes ~30% more than modern prose (e.g., peaking at 0.35% frequency vs 0.25% today). That's the high-quality data LLMs lean on heavily for polished style. It's why suppression is tough without heavy prompting. What makes you doubt the training data link?

Does anyone have a good explanation to why the em dash (—) is rendered out so much by LLMs The explanation is always that it's in the training data a lot. I don't think that's true at all. And why is it so hard to get LLM's to stop using them?
