When I watch the Bucs' situation on offense right now, I'm kind of reminded of Mike Evans' second season, when the team was without Vincent Jackson for seven games, Louis Murpy was out 10 games and Mike Evans' was thrust into the No. 1 role. One game he was targeted NINETEEN times, and 148 total times that season. The next closest was running back Charles Sims (70 targets). It's not easy being that young player that everybody knows the ball is going to and there isn't another every down threat to help occupy the defense's attention. Of course, Emeka Egbuka still had 115 receiving yards and a touchdown today.
