JUST IN: A strong Q3. The U.S. economy expanded 4.3% (annualized) in the third quarter. That’s the best quarterly growth in two years. Consumption was the key driver of growth. Consumption was +3.5% with strong purchases of both goods and services. Slightly stronger exports and unusually low imports also helped boost growth. **Real final sales to private domestic purchasers (a good metric to watch for how healthy the US economy is) grew +3% in Q3**
