@BabyAlchian @HillBofPI @nicholascarrigg Do you know how much extra time, money and danger it causes when you actually have to remove it? Insulation, tiles, shestrock, grout, concrete. It breaks down and need to be replaced. It makes simple repairs super costly and os not worth the risk.

@QuiltingMarvel @SandyofCthulhu I disagree, I think if you can lower the amount of accidents stemming from hitting let's say a deer by a reported >90% it is a benefit to the tax payer. Obviously it should be done reasonably and in reasonable locations. You could also do a referendum if you were super concerned.

@SandyofCthulhu My personal opinion for what its worth: Taxpayers shouldn't be paying for a specialized overpass. If you want to adjust a plan for one, then private donations should be made for the amount over the actual cost of a regular overpass.

Yes they’re good and they should be cheap. Cheaper than a traffic overpass. Spending 100 million on them isn’t the wildlife bridge’s fault and reveals deep awful corruption.
