🎙️ Speaker Spotlight! Nick George Events and Ecosystem Builder for Crypto and AI, Founder of Dryad. Ex- Dr. Sushi, Serotonin, Story Protocol. Meet @0xNock, an ecosystem and events operator with a foundation in live production, brand experience, and program design. At Story Protocol, he served as Events Lead, managing more than $3M in global event spend and leading flagship activations in Seoul and Denver. His work covered strategy through execution: budgeting, sponsorships, speaker operations, vendor management, and on-site production. He also designed and launched Surreal World Assets, a builder program focused on traction rather than submission volume. Across two cohorts, the program reached more than 1,900 registrants, supported 75+ community events across four continents, and moved multiple teams into active incubation. Before Story, Nick worked at Serotonin, helping scale event-led ecosystem growth across clients such as Robinhood, PayPal, and Protocol Labs. Outside of crypto, Nick founded and ran Dr. Sushi - Michigan's first sustainable sushi operation - for ten years out of Detroit. He continues to produce Far Off Sounds, a music documentary series, and Pure Rave, a live performance project he founded in 2016 exploring experimental turntablism through repurposed electronics. Congress passed the GENIUS Act. Now a federal regulator may gut one of its most important benefits for everyday crypto users. And you have until May 1 to do something about it. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is currently accepting public comments on its proposed rules to implement the GENIUS Act, and the most controversial provision would let regulators block platforms from offering stablecoin rewards altogether, going far beyond what Congress actually wrote. Stablecoin rewards aren’t a perk. They’re a competitive tool that levels the playing field and provides more economic opportunity for Americans who might not always be able to access traditional financial institutions. Restricting them doesn’t protect consumers. It protects incumbent banks. The comment period closes May 1, 2026. @StandWithCrypto has made it easy to make your voice heard in under 30 seconds. @DetBlockchain is aiming for 40 signatures before the deadline. Help us get there! If you care about preserving the intent of the GENIUS Act, please sign the petition and share this post. 👉🏼 lnkd.in/e48XGiVU
