That's fine. It just makes the trade deficit worse so something will be done to address the number. I genuinely don't care what you do... I mean... buy or don't buy anything. I'm just saying... that will make the trade imbalance worse. As to worries that the US will "sabotage" the weapons... you tend to actually make those weapons in your own country under US contract. So... if it is being sabotaged it is by your own people. Further, your own engineers have looked over it and have said there is no such device or feature. Made up conspiracy theory. But again, I don't really care. If you trust the French more than the Americans then buy from them. No problem. But it does make the trade deficit worse and that will have the tariff consequence.
