As a huge Avatar fan, I’d rate this movie a 7/10. Plot predictable. Power scaling is very bad and takes away from the experience. New airbenders somehow overpower the strongest benders. The Avatar State also feels very weak, to the point that it can only stop basic towers now.

@riquezadior @chaejinsok Yea kinda, but that’s what he was taught up until like 12 and then was frozen? Sine then he almost killed like 2 people for less. There is also a limit to any human beings philosophy which is why aang did what he did to ozai in the series. They really are just writing it for kids

imma keep it real.. this movie needed to be at least 30 minutes longer. the “betrayal” doesn’t have the weight that they portrayed it to have. they nerfed the gaang and especially aang to the mf ground. STOP MAKING THE AVATAR STATE USELESS 6 maybe 7/10

@riquezadior @chaejinsok It wasn’t about the power scaling it was about the bad writing, also you shouldn’t rely on people knowing lore to showcase the fact the staff makes him stronger than the avatar state they just showed yet another purple monster (which we’ve seen beaten 2 times)

Aang keeps trying to convince him peace is the way when he already went through that arc as a 12 year old talking to the fire lord, aang would’ve killed dude with a good writer.

You can see appa have a sad look in his eyes knowing he has to leave to survive. Either way, aang would’ve awoken all the avatars power and genuinely erased taga in the series.
