So @inregistry seems to have suspended my primary domain without sending me a single email for allegedly an invalid whois. PSA: Never trust a country-TLD. .in has its esp worse because it doesn't allow whois privacy. But I had my home address in there.

@mumbaiheritage The last section of the parapet wall (from Air India Building to NCPA) was built by the Navy for the International Fleet review 2000, so this is a relatively new construction... or I am just showing my age.

Sharing two rare views of Nariman Point & Marine Drive clicked from Oberoi Sheraton in January 1978. I had to do a double take on the first photo, no parapet wall! It seems it was still under construction then. Also sharing two zoomed-in frames, notice the clear blue hues of the water. The parapet wall those days existed only till the Air India building and was extended later. #OldMumbai

A year of protest against the federation chief. Slept on pavements for 40 days. Was beaten, dragged by the police. Nearly immersed all her medals in the Ganga. Underwent knee surgery. Sealed her Olympic spot after an unforgiving qualification process. Became the 1st Indian woman wrestler to qualify for three successive Olympics. And now, she's beaten the unbeatable defending champ, won two more bouts to become the first Indian woman to reach a wrestling Olympic final. Words fail to appreciate what Vinesh Phogat has just done. es.pn/3SFNkQ1 | #Paris2024

@MapMakinMeyers They are location identifiers. Each 4x4 m grid has a digipin. Doesn't mean there is anything there.

LISS4 sensor has 3 bands (NIR/Red/Green) at 5m GSD. The download comes with 3 GeoTIFFs and a metadata file. The pixels are DNs that need to be converted to reflectances. After conversion - there's a close match to Sentinel-2. You can see the improvement in resolution (2/n)

@thej Given the Experience of using the inbuilt OS, and different phones with my Car, I can that even that experience varies from phone to phone, and I just don't see how Car makers could come up with an UX which is better than what Google/Apple could come up with.

@thej This is one post which I strongly disagree with. Having used proprietary maps on some vehicles, using Android / car play is way better from a UX and data point of view.

I am not sure why car companies gave away the dashboard console control to mobile platforms like Android or iOS. Ideally they should have come up with an open protocol/api that would define interaction between mobile device and a car display. They should have owned it.

Today I learnt that RTO's don't accept Aadhar based KYC if your Aadhar address does not contain your parent's name (i.e. with a c/o)

Day 5 developing Japan. Lot's of uncertainty about when I will actually finished, but I set a deadline of August 1. Usually I'm a bit more aggressive, but, this data is so big, processing time, and converting to English, and so many cities. 2nd cup of coffee, LETS GO

The internet wasn't shut down in Manipur for the security of the citizens. It was to maintain a national apathy. Do you care now?
