Some notes I put together last year...
1. Do I fully understand how and why each strategy works and the contextual environment?
2a. Do I understand my trade execution strategies and can I explain clearly what I'm looking for?
2b. Have I back tested and forward-tested the strategy across multiple market cycles?
3. Do I know the expectancy and edge of each setup?
4. How will I monitor for strategy decay or changing market conditions?
5. Have I accounted for execution costs, slippage, and live market conditions?
6. Is my performance statistically sound (strong Calmar, Sortino, etc.) with a large sample, robust across regimes?

Claude Code feels completely different once you install this.
Anthropic quietly released an official plugin called claude-code-setup and it basically turns Claude Code from “pretty good” into an actual AI dev environment.
It scans your project and recommends:
→ hooks
→ skills
→ MCP servers
→ subagents
→ automations
Then sets everything up step-by-step for you.
Most people are using Claude Code completely vanilla…
which is why their experience feels messy.
The real power comes from the ecosystem around it.

We found and fixed two issues that could explain this degradation of the capability of GPT-5.5 in Codex over the last ~ 48 hours.
We are monitoring over the coming hours to fully confirm and I will reset usage limits this evening.

Codex team is aware of reports of GPT-5.5 performing worse for some users and investigating. We don't have anything conclusive yet and systems are healthy but we will share updates as we go.

programmatic usage previously used your full rate limits
which was something like a 5-10X discount vs api costs
now ALL programmatic usage is capped at $20/$100/$200 in api costs (a single opus session can easily burn $20)
