INSANE David Blackman, a veteran of the Texas State Guard, DROPPED OUT of @penn_state Law School after a transgender faculty member reportedly told him that it was MANDATORY to take a woke anti-racism class. Emily Spottswood, the male professor pretending to be a woman, along with other staff, reportedly said that the course would be about "combating oppression," "eradicating patriarchy," and "acknowledging systematic racism." @penn_state must correct this ASAP!

@redrex2002 Agreed. It's their external politicking that is affecting their internal development. Either way it's the kind of garbage consumers should be aware of.

@DevTwitX Because the explanation presented was funny and felt like it was for world building/narrative, but this statement is them basically saying it’s just their ideological views and isn’t for the actual game at all. That’s all fine but their ruining a good thing they had going here.

Fast food prices have gotten so high that some sit-down chain restaurant deals honestly look cheaper now. Chili’s is offering a drink, appetizer, and entrée for $10.99 while a Chick-fil-A meal can easily hit $14–16. A Chipotle bowl with chips and a drink is pushing $20 in some cities. Even McDonald’s isn’t “cheap” anymore.

@redrex2002 And there's no argument the first game was really good. I have my gripes but that was mainly because they misled people about multiplayer coming and then never added it. I think part of the problem is that the look of the game does not lend itself to being a pacifist fantasy.

@DevTwitX I mean some people are into that feel but I’m not one personally. And I like exploration and crafting but having to deal with treats indirectly is just annoying. I wasn’t really a fan of it in the first game (it was actually the most annoying thing about it) but I let it slide

@redrex2002 @MasteroftheTDS Absolutely. I understand the logic behind why people say it shouldn't be but it's flawed. Once you've started selling your product to customers all criticism is on the table. If it's not ready to be critiqued then it's not ready to sell.

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS And I agree. I thought about it originally as “something shouldn’t really be criticized because it’s early access. (Things like textures)” but than I realized that no even that should be given an honest opinion because it’s still valuable information even if it’s not staying

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS If they don’t want weapons in the game that’s fine but their reasoning or at very least the way they answered was just stupid. They could have just said they wanted a certain theme/feel.

@redrex2002 @MasteroftheTDS Yes, relatively. Early access is used as a shield to avoid criticism. When it should be the most valuable time to get that criticism. Understanding where fans want the game to go and what would make them decide to purchase or recommend to their friends is incredibly important.

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS It’s one of the most crucial times for criticism actually and it is objectively more than fair to judge it by the perverse installments. I can understand how it may be annoying but it’s genuinely priceless feedback and how they respond to it sets a precedent for the fanbase

@ButteredCorn75 @MasteroftheTDS Consumers should never care what developers want. They are selling us a product not the other way around. They should not be mistreated for their stance but if they want us to buy their stuff they need to know what informs that decision. Their morality is less than worthless.

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS You're absolutely right, but it's unfair to judge them for not having an element in the game that they don't have and hold a public stand against. Expecting them to go against their established morality because you disagree is childish. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Security guard gets physical stopping a journalist from investigating an $8.6 million dollar Los Angeles homeless project that houses only 50 homeless people No one is in the office and the guard demands he leave. He’s not allowed to ask questions or look at the property The site is a former Super 8 Motel at 7631 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Canoga Park. It’s managed by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles The money spent on these units breaks down to roughly $168,000+ per unit in the initial grant alone, before ongoing services, management, and operations Again, this is per unit

We conquered gorillas while spears were still cutting edge technology, retard.
Sama Hoole@SamaHoole

"Gorillas eat plants and they're jacked, so we can too." Let's have a look at the gorilla, shall we. A silverback gorilla weighing 200kg, casually deadlifting small trees and tearing limbs off other gorillas in the morning, has the following equipment list compared to you: - A digestive tract roughly 60% longer than yours, proportionally, with an enormous hindgut where microbial fermentation breaks down cellulose into short-chain fatty acids he then absorbs as a primary energy source. You do not have this. Your hindgut is small, decorative, and primarily there to make awkward noises in meetings. - A jaw with a sagittal crest, a vertical ridge of bone on the top of the skull where his temporalis muscle anchors, generating a bite force of approximately 1,300 PSI. Yours is about 160. He uses his to chew bark. You use yours to nibble a sourdough croissant. - Twelve to fourteen hours a day spent chewing. Not eating. Chewing. He must masticate roughly 18kg of fibrous vegetation daily just to extract enough calories to keep being a gorilla. Your lunch break is forty minutes. - A gut microbiome dominated by bacteria genuinely capable of fermenting plant matter into usable nutrition. Yours is dominated by whatever survived your last course of antibiotics and a complicated relationship with hummus. - Teeth designed for grinding tough vegetation. Yours are designed for tearing flesh and crushing the occasional walnut, which is why you intuitively reach for the steak and not the bark. - A 200kg body that nature has engineered to live entirely off shoots, stems, leaves, and the occasional insect by accident. Your body, by contrast, was engineered by two million years of hunting and scavenging large herbivores on the African savannah. You are not a gorilla. You are the thing the gorilla would lose a fight to if the gorilla were a deer and you had a spear. Eat accordingly.

Bond shouldn't be "cinema". No Time to DEI was Bond trying to be "cinema". I don't need a boring, backlit Bond scowling over french horn farts. Make an action movie, retards.
Variety@Variety

Léa Seydoux says she sent a note to Denis Villeneuve after hearing he was set to direct the next #JamesBond film: “I was a bit sad when I heard that it was sold [to Amazon MGM], but now that it’s Denis, I was like, ‘Oh, at least it’s him, so it will be cinema.’” Read the full cover story: wp.me/pc8uak-1lHhhG

Forza Horizon 6 is now the highest-rated game of 2026 on Metacritic with a score of 92 This open-world racing game from Playground Games beats other big releases this year like Pokémon Pokopia and Resident Evil Requiem, which both scored 89. Critics love the Japanese setting, from the busy streets of Tokyo to beautiful views around Mount Fuji. The full game comes out on May 19
