@DavidSHFraser I don’t know I got a little bit bored of it by the time I got to the depths. Outside of the ship and the islands both of which I’d completed before the depths. The games just rinse and repeat without much to break up the monotony. I still completed it but I doubt I’ll ever replay

@DavidSHFraser @Customds @DAKKADAKKA1 For. If you know where to dive and skirt the edge the game doesn’t register it as the depths and half the creatures don’t spawn in. Might help with your lag problem.

@DavidSHFraser @Customds @DAKKADAKKA1 I played on PS4 as well but I never had any issues with lag. But yo be fair I didn’t stay down there long. They’re really wasn’t anything down there other than the cave entrance which you technically as far as the games coding is concerned don’t actually need to enter “the depth”

@darkeyedseer @DAKKADAKKA1 I mean my point was that know that. Also I just used the sub to distract it. If you do it right you can split it’s attention and get it before your sun gets crushed.

@DAKKADAKKA1 Who was actively hunting and killing the reaper in the first one it takes 200 hits to kill a reaper the only way to do it is by either abusing the stasis gun or abusing the prawn suit both of are which is extremely tedious and unfun so who was actively doing it all the time?

@s8n Why is this so true tho. Like my dad cooks stake every once in awhile and I swear it’s amazing but he’s only cooked it like 6 times in my entire life

@Elgato83371553 @Pirat_Nation Yeah theirs a survival log on the knife like that. But than they also tell you about a guy who survived 86 days or something like that on a much worse planet that if he had a gun he might have made it off.

@redrex2002 @Pirat_Nation But if in the first game they tell you there are no firearms because some crazy person killed a lot of people and that's why there's only basic survival equipment

Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence. The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures. On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied, “This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.” This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it. A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons. Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

@DevTwitX I saw a few people saying they weren’t even going to let people mid weapons into it. Which just to clarify I don’t know if that’s true but if it is that’s really dumb. At that point you’re just forcing you’re ideology on to your players rather than standing on your own.

@redrex2002 Agreed. It's their external politicking that is affecting their internal development. Either way it's the kind of garbage consumers should be aware of.

@DevTwitX Which I think was them trying to show you “Look gun bad” or something like that but honestly it just made them look awesome and set it up like you were fixing to get one or something like it. I would have settled for a new tool with that tech even.

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS from contempt. It’s a show that you want better for something. Not all criticism should be heeded but it should be heard. Even little thing like texture critics in early development (which might sound stupid but they) are still valuable feedback.

@DevTwitX @MasteroftheTDS To a certain extent I do. Things like the text example but stuff like this that has no intent on being added or is over looked, no. I think the problem is too many people see criticism as “just being mean” or an attempt to put it down. But the reality is criticism isn’t breed
