@LJMBAU I borrowed a mates 2024 Model 3 and tried out FSD. On 3 separate occasions while navigating Sydney streets, the car attempted to turn me directly into oncoming traffic. Didn’t inspire me with confidence. It needs to stay in whatever Alpha/Beta state it’s in.

@XFreeze “The safest vehicle on the road”…bro, I drove my mates 2024 Model 3 a couple of months ago, used FSD, and on no less than 3 separate occasions did it try and turn me directly into oncoming traffic.

Tesla did not just build the best EV. They built the safest vehicle on the road - beating every gas car, hybrid, and truck out there The Model 3 and Model Y were awarded top safety honors and "Best-in-Class" ratings by Euro NCAP. Not just for EVs, but dominating the entire auto industry With highest scores: 🥇 Model Y: 91% Adult Safety, 93% Child Safety, 92% Safety Assist 🥇 Model 3: 90% Adult Safety, 93% Child Safety, 87% Safety Assist Both cars scored a flawless 24/24 for protecting 6 and 10-year-old passengers in crash tests. They even come standard with child presence detection so you literally cannot leave a kid behind Tesla’s crash structure combined with their software safety suite proves that zero compromises is the only standard that matters

@TeslaJigsaw @transportgovuk @Heidi_Alexander I bored a friends Model 3 a couple of months ago and used FSD in it. On 3 separate occasions, while driving on streets in Sydney, Australia, the car attempted to turn directly into oncoming traffic. It truly did not inspire me with any confidence that it should be blindly used.

This is my Tesla Model Y in the UK. It already has all the hardware and software needed to drive itself under my supervision - making it dramatically safer than any regular car on our roads. Yet @transportgovuk, @Heidi_Alexander and the Vehicle Certification Agency have still not approved it for use here. It’s like having seatbelts fitted in the car… but the government won’t let you use them. This technology is already working safely in other countries around the world. Why are UK drivers and other road users being held back from a safer future? Enough with the delays already - follow the @RDWnl lead and get this approved. #Tesla #ModelY #FSD #FullSelfDriving #UKAutonomous @elonmusk

@CARN0N I borrowed a friends 2024 Model 3 a couple of months ago. On 3 separate occasions, using FSD. while driving in Sydney streets, it attempted to steer me directly into oncoming traffic. That, very much, did not inspire confidence in it.

When I am in the city I always use FSD. Watch as these manual drivers follow each other onto the tram tracks before having to drive off a huge drop possibly damaging there vehicle. FSD would never.

@TeslaCharging Great. But only 4? And annoying when other ev's can use them. A key reason to buy a tesla is due to the supercharge network.

@ryanjaycowan 99+% of all new cars sold in the US are cars that don't have FSD. Tesla has about 5% of US new car market share and less than 20% of those cars have FSD.

Crazy how under-appreciated Tesla FSD is in Australia. I feel this is about to change soon, as this will be the last time we significantly lag behind US releases. v14.3+ should see faster pacing for global rollouts. US will always be the proving ground, but RHD markets shouldn't be far behind.

@Devastat0r0 @ryanjaycowan i’ve had this going over brisbane story bridge - @ryanjaycowan you need to report on the reality that majority of metro city fsd drivers experience daily issues (some major). hyping it is borderline dangerous and deceptive to the public.

@ryanjaycowan i’ve been using FSD from 6 months now, and brother is it undercooked. especially being inner city, it’s still quite dangerous imo - many daily major interventions. here is one example from earlier in the year that i remembered to hit dash cam for

@ryanjaycowan Ok so, legit thing here, I drove a mates 2024 Model 3 and tried the FSD. 3 times it attempted to steer me into oncoming traffic. It very much did not inspire confidence & reinforced to me that it’s not ready to come out of whatever alpha/beta testing phase it’s in.

The @Tesla Model 3 and Model Y were the top two bestselling used EVs in Australia in March 2026, as used EV sales went up 138% from February as cost-conscious Australians ditch petrol and diesel in favor of cheaper alternatives. 7,557 used EVs were sold in March, in one of the most significant shifts seen in the segment to date. Supply tightened, falling by 38%, leaving the market with just 28.6 days of supply, well below the 60–90 day average. (new data from the Australian Automotive Dealer Association)

@Devastat0r0 @SawyerMerritt @Tesla Yes... but we bought FSD outright 4 years ago and transferred recently. Yes, we all know it's not autonomous yet... but we use it almost exclusively (even the v13 that we have in Australia, not as resolved as in the US) and it's truly amazing. Don't mock until you try.

@schtinkster @SawyerMerritt @Tesla Don’t you need to pay an ongoing subscription for the FSD? Also isn’t it fully driver supervised making it not FSD? I do care what my car looks like, I don’t want to be driving around in a fridge lol

@Devastat0r0 @SawyerMerritt @Tesla Test drive a new Tesla (and get them to show you FSD) and - especially for half the cost - I bet you'll stop caring what they look like. As a 4-year owner of a 3 and now a Y, I have honestly never thought about whether I like their aesthetic. It's irrelevant.
