@13arm13arm @TeslaAUNZ mmhhhmmm - seems like a common theme. curating contents to only praise FSD and omitting/not addressing key issues is in fact deceptive and misleading under the ACL. the ACL applies to “influencers”. so they seriously need to come into line before they cop fines/breaches

Please tell me if I’m wrong, but it’s my observation the people who aren’t complaining about @TeslaAUNZ FSD “Down Under” foibles at all, seem to be on the Early Access Program 🤷🏻‍♂️

@LJMBAU yes - (every) day i have to do interventions, some minor (ie: it making poor decisions/not judging who gives way correctly). but close to 30-40% of drives i do critical interventions that would otherwise lead to a catastrophic accident. V13 should be V13 ‘beta’

Who’s experienced these same interventions (AU)? I’ve witnessed all 3, the late exit lane change is very often👇
Neil Bolton@NeilBoltonRSPL

@CARN0N V13 is working on HW4 but it’s not good. On April 1 I had three critical interventions and a bad decision in 40 kms. Here are they. Today I had three interventions in 10 kms.

Crazy how under-appreciated Tesla FSD is in Australia. I feel this is about to change soon, as this will be the last time we significantly lag behind US releases. v14.3+ should see faster pacing for global rollouts. US will always be the proving ground, but RHD markets shouldn't be far behind.

@ryanjaycowan if anyone wanted another example: brisbane inner city suburb - goes around a roundabout, when exiting it accelerates and starts to swerve into the oncoming lane. had to do a critical disengagement- other car coming had to slam on their brakes

@ryanjaycowan i’ve been using FSD from 6 months now, and brother is it undercooked. especially being inner city, it’s still quite dangerous imo - many daily major interventions. here is one example from earlier in the year that i remembered to hit dash cam for

@Devastat0r0 @ryanjaycowan i’ve had this going over brisbane story bridge - @ryanjaycowan you need to report on the reality that majority of metro city fsd drivers experience daily issues (some major). hyping it is borderline dangerous and deceptive to the public.

@NathanStarkau @ryanjaycowan He won’t acknowledge this. I can relate to you though mate, I drove a mates model 3 and on 3 separate occasions, in Sydney streets, it attempted to turn me directly into oncoming traffic.

@ryanjaycowan this isn’t a one off thing - fsd is like this everyday on city streets or metro but up areas. i’d say it’s good 65% of the time, but i’d never feel comfortable having a family member “supervising” and not know what to do to take over

EV interest in Australia has surged, with NAB (Australia’s biggest biz bank) reporting a 100% increase in EV loans since early March amid volatile fuel prices. Business lending enquiries for EVs jumped 88%. Tesla and BYD some of the top inquiries! @TheDriven_io @SawyerMerritt

FSD 13.2.9 rolled out 12 months ago today - why is Australia (FSD Downunder) still running on 12 month old software? v14 is needed asap @elonmusk

@analyticflying @nickbeano during covid i did the Melbourne-London flight with a fuel stop in Darwin. We had to disembark while refuelling due to safety reasons, but i recall it being a quick turnaround, maybe an hour or so

@nickbeano It's a refuelling stop, but based on how the Sydney-London flight works the passengers do disembark (not certain this will be the case). But it's the same aircraft and will be at the same gate.

@techAU @DronusAdelaide @TeslaAUNZ FSD on rural highways weird does this. As soon as i drove north of Sunshine coast, fsd would always drive 5-10km/h below the designated speed - even when the speed limit offset is increase to 10% above

The stretch of the Mallee Highway between Pinnaroo and Ouyen is 110kmh but FSD only wants to do 100kmh boo @TeslaAUNZ

raw vid and the dashcam vid from the car. again, i do enjoy FSD and think it’s pretty cool, but i have to do multiple critical disengagements everyday. i hope FSD v14 fixes many of the issues, as 13.2.9 lowkey has put me in some very unsafe situations

have time over the holidays to start actually capturing some of these down under FSD 13.2.9 disengagements. this one this morning almost led to likely crash. you can see the car escalate as the other car is within seconds of its path @FredLambert @techAU

@baddaginnie @TeslaAI @techAU @13arm13arm agreed - it’ll constantly go 5-10km/h under the speed limit when the speed limit is 100km/h+ seems like FSD in aus might have limitations at 100km/h speeds? 80/90km/h speed limits are fine and never had an issue

@TeslaAI FSD 13.2.9 Australia latest version cooked speed on freeway. Tapping the pedal every 15 second for a 4 hour drive is crazy frustrating. Having said that, thanks for FSD - it is a must have and will be transformational. @techAU @13arm13arm
