@neilshroff I beg to differ on NFTs considered as grifting
The just need improvement and we’re tryna fix it @DeFiShardsxyz
English

the optimal amount of grift and scammy vibes in an industry is not zero
anything worth doing (e.g. AI, robotics, bci, crypto, biotech) has an optimal nonzero amount of grift, naturally attracted by lack of regulation, market structure, possibility of crazy growth
anything with zero or low grift (insurance, utilities, aerospace, industrials, etc.) probably just means its too real, structured, or too regulated for anyone new to make any real progress quickly
anything with high grift (courses, NFTs, MLMs, astrology, anything getrichquick) is also a waste of time since your hard word, merits will not go a long way, and any sense of shame will not let you operate as reqd

@waleswoosh bought my first house in the middle of last year so i’d say yes go for it if your gut says so
English

Considering buying a house for a while now.
Financially I'm not sure whether it's a good investment, but I'd love to have a long-term residence (talking decades).
I also think it gives peace of mind, a place of "FU" for those who know the famous scene from The Gambler.
Curious to hear from those who did buy a house: Do you regret it, or do you still consider it a good decision?
And also curious to hear from people who decided not to buy one or don't plan to (and why)
