Today I finally went to the doctor for my own stomach issues after putting it off for awhile. Then right after, I had to go downstairs to help my mom with her exam 😭 I’m trying my best to stay strong through all of this, but man… I really need a job. God please help

Spent the day taking my mom to get an MRI done & now I’m at nephrology trying to get my dad an earlier appointment because his eGFR is at 12. Being an only child means all of this falls on me, so I really need a job right now to help with things 🥲plz let me know who hiring

Trying to figure out life as a jobless tech person while helping my parents through health issues has been a lot lately. My dad’s kidneys are only functioning at 12%, and I’m hoping he stays okay until he sees the specialist. Being an only child has made this extra hard lately.

@CodeAndCrochet Thank you honestly. It helps knowing I’m not the only one who feels discouraged sometimes. I’m trying my best to keep going even when it gets exhausting ❤️

@Devchicajas Sorry you feel like that. Sometimes I get discouraged as well but I will keep trying. You should too.

@DevRelLewis Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’ve been in tech for about 3 to 4 years now, and constantly having to prove myself and fight for a place in it has been exhausting. I’m trying not to give up, but lately it’s been hard not to question if this path is still meant for me.

@Devchicajas I highly recommend you keep going. Take a break but keep going. Took me 4 years to get to where I am now.
