Today, Latvia 🇱🇻 officially announced our intention to become one of the founding members of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.   Russia must be held accountable. Justice will prevail.  @andrii_sybiha

The USA/EU has asked Ukraine to stop bombing Russia's Oil Refineries. Why isn't the USA/EU asking Russia to stop bombing Ukraine? There can be a ceasefire tomorrow if Russia withdrew their troops from Ukraine and called off their invasion.

Quite familiar with both. I wouldn't call it an SMO, that's just my opinion. But why has Ukraine not declared war on Russia- which would make it a war- ? There are some uncomfortable answers there... If you think the 2022 Russian army was better than the 2026 Russian army you can go to the Pentagon or any military command and make your case...because they sure disagree with you. It sure would save the taxpayers a lot of money.

@DeverPepijn @rshereme Oh, yes, it’s a smo. 😆 You don’t know much about the Baltic history, do you? Or that of russia for that matter. I will start worrying once russia has it’s army to the pre war level. Or if they actually manage to get to a point where they can pull some troops alive from Ukraine.

Imagine the following scenario: russia attacks the Baltic countries to connect with Kaliningrad — just as it attacked Ukraine to gain access to Crimea. What will the U.S. do? Here’s my prediction: nothing. Article 5 will be treated like the Budapest Memorandum. Trump, Rubio, and other MAGA propagandists will claim, “This isn’t our war.” And if russia swiftly invades the Baltic states (which would be far easier than Ukraine), declares them part of russia, and then threatens the West with nuclear weapons should they respond — what will the West do? Exactly what they did for Ukraine. The cowardice of the U.S. has emboldened russia. Those who now say “russia would never dare invade” said the same about Ukraine — right before russia did exactly that. The only way to stop russia now is to help Ukraine and punish russia for its imperial ambitions.

The people who lectured Ukraine about the need to compromise with Putin are the same ones now hoping Iran refuses to negotiate and fights the US to the bitter end. A completely pathetic double standard. They just don’t dare admit they fully side with Russia. Hypocrites!

Be careful when assuming.... The Ukrainian conflict is not a war yet- hasn't been declared. Russia is building up their army, not really degrading it (you can read this in for ex. the Pentagon assessments etc.) They are more ready to take them now than they were in 22... literally only diplomacy/neutrality can save them.

@DeverPepijn @rshereme Undefendable and yet they have been defended before by smaller powers than NATO? Diplomacy means shit to russia. The fact that after four years of snail pace and being decimates in Ukraine you still think so highly of russia is frankly strange.

@TomHoefling @ivor_2012 Lol, YOU are ignorant. You can literally read the agreements and pull out all the articles of the day surrounding the matter. But you won't shine the light of truth on that or read into it, the light of truth works as desinfectant against your ilk.

@ivor_2012 You're ignorant. After the fall of the Soviet Union, Ukraine had the third-largest stockpile of nukes on the planet. They gave them to the Russians in exchange for our promises. One of the worst decisions they ever made, apparently.

So, the US, which gave Ukraine a security guarantee when it gave up its nukes after the collapse of the Soviet Union, is telling Ukraine it will give it a security guarantee if it surrenders to Russia, which also gave Ukraine a security guarantee before it invaded Ukraine. Nuts.

@igorsushko Hey Igor, now would be a good time to send some of your paycheck to the Gaza relief fund. Easy commanding other peoples money. Luckily they won't let you anywhere near control of taxpayer money - I can already imagine the sucking sound -

@judisommer1 @Unbranded63 Using the aid to alleviate as political pocket change to further ones political viewpoint. It implies that Trump blocking the aid would be a better political signal, so to further the suffering of others because it is more palatable to ones opinions.

@DeverPepijn @Unbranded63 It didn't seem to bother Trump before today's abrupt turnaround. I wonder why he did that? How on earth did you come to the conclusion that the poster wants Cubans to suffer? You gave an odd sense of cause and effect.

Putin has such absolute control over Trump. Vlad sends aid to Cuba. Trump let's it go. Putin sends intelligence to Iran on how to maximize American troop deaths, Trump doesn't even acknowledge it, nevermind condemn it. I am just stunned about Americans. nytimes.com/2026/03/29/wor…

NEW President Zelensky refuses to stop hammering the Russian oil industry: "Ukraine received signals from some partners to reduce our retaliatory strikes on the Russian oil sector" "Only if Russia is ready to stop striking at Ukrainian energy, we will pause strikes on their energy infrastructure." Until then, the attacks will continue.

You apparently think that Russia helping to alleviate the suffering of the Cubans is something Trump has to "let Russia do". I translate that as using the suffering of the Cubans as a tool to support your political opinion. As if letting them suffer is OK as long as Putin cannot "score" with help.

@JohannaNyman5 Yeah, exactly what you need for anti-EU sentiment in the whole union. EU can only survive on expansion, shrinking will kill it and HU would be in BRICS before your soup is cold. But with the incompetent leadership at the helm now : you will probably get your wish....and downfall.

They actually can replace them easily, as long as the pilots survive, those take at least 18 years to replace. But when evaluating the front, nothing really special happening except the Ukrainian offense that is petering out? Doesn't mean the Russian counter will be any more successful, just nothing really breathtaking happening at the front for now.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Russian helicopters keep dropping out of the sky You don’t see this kind of attrition unless something’s going really wrong on one side. Air defenses, tactics, whatever it is, it’s biting hard And yeah, it says a lot right now, Ukraine forcing the pace while Russia keeps losing assets it can’t easily replace

The US is providing intelligence to strike Russian positions in Ukraine. Russia is providing satellite data and targeting to Irans ballistic missiles to hit US assets. China is providing satellite data to Russia to strike Ukraine. It’s a new type of global proxy war.
