@ptr_to_joel this used to be my dream job, I strived to become a SM. But as I grew older I realized it's not a real job, and most of the things that a SM is known for can be done by other roles. I now do SM duties next to my official position, thus hardening my position in the company.

I have friends and former co-workers that work as developers in the banking sector, and they also follow this mentality.

I honestly had a ton of fun during that whole thing. I went to beaches that were “closed” . (How do you close a beach?) I went on road trips. Traveled
Through San fransico driving through the whole city and seeing like 3 cars on the road. I went where I wanted. Did whatever I wanted. It was pretty great. Everyone was gone everywhere.
Only people out and about were cool as hell.
