I recently experienced a problem with a logistics company I trusted with my package, something every delivery customer has felt; not knowing where their order actually is, "has it left?", "did something happen?" and having no proof once it's delivered. So i'm building a solution (don't know the name yet) How it works: every order status change is logged immutably, from pending → assigned → picked up → en route → delivered, each step timestamped and tied to who made it (with longitude and latitude pings). Not just "trust me" vibe Customers track their order via a link, no account needed. I built it this way on purpose; friction kills trust before it even starts. Add a login wall and people bounce. Instead: live driver location, full timeline, and photo proof of delivery, all behind a tracking token. Backend is processing; Django + DRF, JWT auth, role-based access for dispatchers/drivers. If you run a delivery business and "where's my order" is a recurring headache, this is exactly the problem I'm solving. DMs open.
