Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas. ♥️🎄🍾🌈 My homily this morning, picked up on what we so often miss in a sentimental reading of the Christmas stories, of God becoming human flesh and dwelling among us in the babe of Bethlehem. It’s a reading that I dedicate to all those victims of abuse who have reached out to me, and from whom I have learned so much. God chooses to become a child, a human being, at risk. We meet that Christ still in real broken human bodies who need our protection. May we all be born again with and through Christ.
