We did it. The 2025 DevonDoesTech 1K FEST is officially complete. Over the course of 1,000 minutes of live streaming, our community came together in a big way. Together, we raised $1,183 for @OpBBQRelief, helping provide meals and hope to families impacted by disasters. We also gave away more than $2,000 in prizes to our amazing audience thanks to amazing brands like @geekotogamers, @creatorwizard, @KCGameOn, @LAS_Curry, @eatuna247, @disruptors2024, and @CirceanStudios! I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, tuned in, and supported this event. A huge thank you to the sponsors and partners who made these giveaways possible. This community continues to amaze me, and I’m excited to see how we can make the next 1K FEST even bigger! Cheers!🍻

@spammantha I think from a brand to creator perspective, that kind of relationship makes the most sense. Definitely something I always strive for.

@DevonDoesTech My hope is that creators who do #ad actually back up the brand. From my POV, we want to work with creators who believe in our brand as much as we believe in them.

Same thing when a creator has a sponsored video, an #ad integration, working with a brand. Do you want that creator to be able to pay their bills?

when i was 22 i thought that these type of integrations were dumb as hell. then i watched as dozens of my colleague were laid off because esports couldn't figure out how to monetize itself. if the casters have to shout out the GrubHub Gank for a check, let them.
