Just watched the new Michael Jackson documentary on Netflix and it’s not looking good for MJ, he most definitely did it.

@edwardbrgr Also the movie begins in 1968 & ends with him performing Bad in 1988.. In that gap, he wasnt a controversial person. Aside of the fact hes THE most famous, so ofc there were folks who though he was strange. This is bout his rise, so yes, his musical talents are Highlighted

Mind you, the only thing the audience keeps talking about is the musical performances and the acting and sure, that’s good and all, but almost never what happens when Michael and his family aren’t on stage. That says a lot. So yeah, I’ve never even seen Leaving Neverland, and this just proves to me that people will happily settle for mid-tier forgettable biopic slop over actual good storytelling, because it’s easier to just throw a bunch of Michael Jackson songs in their face and call it a great movie for whatever reason 🤷

A synopsis of an entire show is a generalization of what occurs, Not a scene by scene breakdown of the plot/story. It functions much like a teaser. Theyre hiding shit dawg

@homeofdcu It can be grounded. It can be bathed in realism. It can even be a buddy cop schtick. But it just looks bland and bad. Can only judge once it starts rolling each episode though. I think the story is lacking the most it feels.
