I think people really underestimate how good it is to have a guaranteed turn 1/ turn 2 play as your chosen champion, especially if it doesn't cost power. Even if the effect isn't amazing, you still gain value from your cc simply being there for you You free up deck space and open up deck building by not needing to put turn 1 or turn 2 plays in your deck, because your cc is already your turn 1 or turn 2 play. You have better opening hand quality and easier mulligans without needing to see certain opening plays. You have guaranteed consistent access to a play on the turn your cc can get played So even if the effect isn't crazy, you are still gaining value by your cc simply existing, and if the effect is good, even better

@DaemonXGG Yea at level 11 when the game is practically over. How many cards are you using to jump all the way up to lv 11 for your units entering ready to matter? Even at lv6 is too slow when the og gives solo attackers +2 while the new one only gives you a +1 for all of that effort lol

@SammyAddamss @RiftboundMeta That’s the issue. You’re relying on extra cards being paid for the same payoff when the og yi does it in one unit. I’d rather not run clunky cards just for the same effects as the card we currently have.

@DevsCloud @RiftboundMeta New Legend has all units enter ready after a few XP and new Yi is 6e0p 12 might. The old one objectively worse bud. XP is already insanely easy in Orange/Green based on few cards.

@StevenWillcox2 @RiftboundMeta 2 energy and a power for more might and the ability to enter ready and with ganking is better than relying on other cards to pull off the same result.
