@dannykanell you said on the prediction show that ND would ride an easy schedule to the playoffs, but had 2 of NDs opponents making the playoffs (USC and Boise) and co-hosts had another 2 (Miami and Texas A&M). Genuinely curious, why do you think this is a cupcake schedule?

@ThatSmith15 I just prefer Rose/Sugar Bowl in quarterfinal and it appears Peach is aligned with those. I’ll deal with Atlanta in exchange for win in Pasadena. Also, I actually really enjoyed my evening at Johnnys Hideaway!

“I want to be in an environment where I have the resources to win a national championship,” Brian Kelly said in April 2022 after leaving Notre Dame for LSU. Notre Dame will play for a national championship in 11 days. LSU has not made the CFP since Kelly took over.

The Sugar Bowl officially announces the game will kick off tomorrow at 4 p.m eastern/3 p.m. central. All game tickets for tonight’s game will be valid for tomorrow. ESPN will televise.

@chrisfallica There is probably a happy medium here. If you’ve beaten a lot of teams that are in the 20-40 range, there’s a pretty clear rationale that the team would be ranked if you didn’t beat them. That should matter and isn’t captured in this metric. Quad systems works better.

Wins over teams that have proven to be good is useless info? Isn't that kind of the goal here? Get the best teams who have proven they can beat good teams in the CFP? Beating "then No. 10 Utah" in September when the Utes wound up 5-7 is the actual useless metric.

Truth be told, I liked Notre Dame going for the touchdown there at the goal line. Giving the ball to a running back who lined up at the 20-yard line, less good.

Since 2000, Notre Dame football has played in more conference championship games than Texas A&M and they aren’t even in a conference. #AggieFactThursday

Having sued their own conference because they are too good for it, Florida State is now 30-28 in their last 58 ACC football games.
