@kingChopChoppa @kcat969 @_TheSmartAlec1 @bingbongscho Establishing the mutant struggle is a good first step for the X-Men movie, not that they couldn't just jump in but the world building would feel disjointed if X-Men showed up with no talks of mutants. I haven't seen anything about her character in any leaks myself

Given the leaks this Jean isn’t even Jean, I think it’s fair that X-Men fans aren’t happy with this. But at least it’s not Wolverine in the movie

Yeah guys I’m sure Typhoid Mary/Rachel Cole/Rachel Summers/Hallow’s Eve is gonna play a big enough role here warranting an announcement

@Dewott1 @joey_walla3264 @THE_saintart I keep on going back to that I'm not against the idea that we're bringing in mutants, just this being Jean Grey. This character, if they are a prominent mutant, looks and acts more like Hope than Jean Grey.

@_TheSmartAlec1 I am defending the hell out of her being in this movie, I think establishing mutants before jumping into the X-Men is the move, and since it seems like her and Peter are getting hunted by the same guys I think they can make it work well, especially with Peter'a freakiness goingon

It’s funny cause now that I have long-gotten over my initial distaste for her being in Brand New Day, I am actually really excited to see a genuine no-strings-attached new take on Jean Grey and a new take on an X-Men character in general, especially with this story setup
