Police say Wess Roley is the gunman who killed 2 firefighters and wounded a third in a shocking ambush near Coeur d’Alene.
His body was found near his weapon at the scene of a fire he allegedly started.
It’s still unclear if he was shot by police or died by suicide, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff.
One firefighter remains hospitalized but is now in stable condition.
