From a Software Engineer to a Full-Time Trader. @Ronak_Unadkat story isn’t just about success, it’s about resilience. In his very first trading days (2012–13), he entered with 4L. Beginner’s luck made it 6L in weeks but within 15 days, he lost it all. Most would’ve quit. He didn’t. youtu.be/vXc7DagpnXI In 2014, after moving to Baroda, he restarted with the same 4L. This time with discipline. By reviewing old trades, he found his mistakes no hedging, only option buying, zero risk management. He promised himself: turn 4L →7L in 2 years. It took 2.5, but he did it. Then came the breakthrough (2016–2020): the golden era for option sellers. Weekly expiries, lower margins, fewer participants. With strategy + compounding, he doubled capital year after year. His journey: 2014 – 4L 2016 – 12L 2018 – 25L 2019 – 62L 2020 – 1Cr 2022 – 5Cr 2024 – 10Cr+ All without withdrawing a rupee his job covered expenses. His belief: Markets respect the minority. Earlier few sold options, today with algos & high margins, things have changed. In this podcast, Ronak ji shares his early loss, his discipline, the power of compounding, and what it truly takes to become a full-time trader in today’s market.
