A culture shift in the overall national delivery of services is required. As part of our five development pillars, we have embraced technology as an enabler in the service sector to improve efficiency and accessibility. Only recently have we begun implementing a one-stop center approach to service delivery. However, the level of satisfaction achieved through MESOB services clearly demonstrates the value of this model, underscoring the need for further expansion. The launch of the MESOB mobile service today is a clear reflection of this continued progress. We will continue to expand these integrated services to ensure more efficient use of time and to deliver meaningful time savings for our citizens.

Ethiopian 🇪🇹 airlines MRO has won contracts from Saudi Arabia and South Africa 🇿🇦 to be doing the maintenance and repairs of their aircraft. No Chinese, American, European or Russian engineers are involved in this department. It's purely run by Ethiopian engineers bred and trained from Ethiopian Aviation University. Ethiopians are putting their differences aside and putting Ethiopia first. When people are united by vision, nothing seems impossible. (Akech Andrew)

Today, we officially inaugurated Haroo Dendi Lodge in the Oromia Region, a key milestone of the Dine for Generation initiative. Beyond ecotourism, this is the new face of Ethiopia, where modern architecture follows the heartbeat of nature. We didn't just build, we chose to honour our natural legacy, magnifying the existing beauty of Dendi Crater Lake for the generations to follow while honouring the heritage of the local people. It is a human-centred sanctuary built to respect the land and empower the community.
This lodge is a testament to promises made and promises delivered. It elevates Ethiopia as a destination worthy of being visited, invested in, and cherished. As a central pillar of our economy, tourism is not just a sector, it is shaping the future of our national growth.

As the COP32 host country, Ethiopia has embarked on early preparations through the formal establishment of the National Steering Committee. We have brought together key leadership to guide this process with clarity and purpose. The Presidency has already commenced its initial tasks, laying the foundation for what must be a coordinated and ambitious effort.
Today, I convened the National Steering Committee across sectors to assess progress made so far, identify gaps, and ensure that all efforts remain aligned with our national vision. This platform serves not only as a space for review, but also for collective direction-setting. Our focus is clear: to move forward cohesively, with strong coordination, unified ambition, and a shared commitment to excellence in hosting this global program.

We inaugurated the Addis Sports Park, a 5.7-hectare project that stands as a testament to our promise of urban renewal and the restoration of our citizens' dignity. By honouring 15 of our Olympic gold medallists with dedicated statues at the heart of this facility, we ensure their legacy inspires the next generation of Ethiopian champions. Whether it is the Olympic-standard swimming pool, the professional football, basketball, and tennis courts, or the 800-meter running track, every part of this world-class hub is built to meet international standards.
True development must be centred on the community. This project is about more than elite sports, it provides 105 new commercial shops to empower community members relocated during the development process with a grand plaza for 3,000 people to gather and connect. With two levels of basement parking for 300 vehicles and a seamless connection to our riverside green projects, we are proving that a clean, modern Ethiopia is happening right now. We don’t just envision a better future, we build it!
