When Gameday had Theo Von on Gameday for the Bama vs Vandy game, I brought up that it wouldn’t be the last time they brought a guest picker not associated with the host school. And I thought it set a bad precedent for the future. I was laughed at and roasted on the message board I said this comment on. Well, here we are again. 🤷‍♂️ The point of the guest picker is to celebrate the history of the host school. And have someone the host school’s fans connect with, celebrate, and get excited for. To continue to go down this path is laughable. And goes against the spirit of what college football is. Roast me again if you want. But keep in mind, I just know how Tennessee fans will be the next time Gameday comes to Knoxville and they choose someone like Luke Bryan, Dr. Phil, or Steven A. Smith.
