Very sad to report that League President David Havenhand has died at the age of 91. A true football man to the last, who worked so hard for the CCL and others.

@ComCoFL So sorry to hear this. David was a lovely guy that I first met when he trained me as a referee back in 1988. I have had several conversations with him over the years and found his enthusiasm and passion for the game second to none. A lovely man. Condolences to his family

@ComCoFL David, a great servant to non league football & helped me enormously with FA matters - also an excellent cricket umpire, saw him many times when he was one of the umps officiating at my sons matches at St George’s College. Was loyal & devoted to his sports, will be sadly missed.
