@HelleLyngSvends You calling yourself as a “free” journalist is equivalent to the Chinese calling themselves “communists”. Have some spine and call comrade Xi out for human rights violations in xinjiang for crying out loud.

I turned off comments on the video of my primeminister because he did end up taking questions later yesterday from Indian reporters. I still think he should have taken questions at the first press meeting from the Indian press. Feel free to discuss on this thread instead.

Dear Sibi, You have a bright future in Indian politics🔥The confidence & authority with which you say these things!💪 U should start as party spokesperson today (that way you’ll embarrass yourself at home and not the nation abroad)🙏🏼

@sachinsingh1010 This was a press conference without questions. Which is not how we usually do it in Norway.

Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

Worlds largest democracy's Pm avoiding questions like a coward since 2014 but Indian mainstream media was so much sold out that they never had the guts to ask why Modi ji is not doing press conferences. But now this issue is being raised together on the foreign soil by the media which is ranked number 1 in the world. International embarrassment for us and now we are used to it

I don't fully understand what happened in Norway. I can see the Norwegian PM and Indian PM appeared together. Did they take questions from the media? I can see a bunch of Indian media waiting outside a room. What were they doing? Where was the Norwegian media? Why was only the Indian media trying to interview the Norwegian PM? He then walked past and ignored them. Had he done his own press briefing with the Norwegian media then? I can see there was an MEA press briefing without PM Modi but with MEA spokespeople which is standard practice and Norwegian and Indian media. But am unclear on what happened before that.

@HelleLyngSvends I wonder what will happen to you when you ask your sponsors about their human rights violations. There is a precedent though. If you ask, and get a plane ticket whose route is above yunlun mountains, don’t take it. A lot of plane crashes happened there.

My colleague and I asked questions tonight both on why we should trust India given the human violations rights, and also about the visit. I tried multiple times to get them to be specific on human rights, but I was unsuccessful. The representatives talked about India’s effort during Covid & also yoga, among other things. My colleague has the videos so I will try to publish tomorrow.

@HelleLyngSvends Lol. Comrade lyng. The thing is, your ideology stands out. People get recoiled at the mere presence of it. It’s just like the stench emanating from the fermented regurgitated human shit off gulags in Siberia during USSR era. Or the countless million deaths during Mao era.

@VinodhiniUnoffl Dear comrade, why should the PM ask our fellow sold out brethren for an interview? What if people also start asking questions about our dear leaders, who historically have hid under 2 miles of human shit and committed unspeakable atrocities? I bet, that would be embarrassing.

Full blown clash at MEA presser as reporter asks "why should India be trusted". MEA's Secy West @AmbSibiGeorge responds by India's role in providing global help during Covid, India's constitution, fundamental rights. The reporter leaves the presser, then later comes back.

@Chellaney Very one sided analysis. Chinese hold of rare earths is not broken. However, by lifting of sanctions, does it mean that china will now use USD to settle oil transactions? What happens to yuan oil trade?

India’s compliance, China’s defiance: As New Delhi petitions Washington to renew the sanctions waiver expiring today so it can keep importing Russian oil, Trump says he is considering lifting U.S. sanctions on Chinese refiners buying Iranian crude. China defies American sanctions and gets accommodation; India complies and still needs permission.

@KiranKS ASML supplies photolithographic machines, which are used to draw patterns on chips. A very critical part, but the most critical, i.e., etching of patterns and manufacturing chips is performed by TSMC.
