They need to be well out of the nap era, able to walk 20k steps and not whine, and most importantly - be able to appreciate and remember it.

I was a teacher for 12 years, and I hate this sort of rhetoric.
A teacher's day is done by 3 pm. They never work a night or weekend unless they want to. Only 180 work days per year, they're off 1/2 the time.
It's paid appropriately, but no teachers want to hear that.
