Reflecting on the past 10 months, this chapter has been a career highlight! I’ve supported new schools, upgrades and the successful opening of 3 new temp schools! 🏫 Proud to have been able to support these new schools in local communities where I received my public education.

Every non-government school in Australia is either funded at the level David Gonski recommended, is above it, or is on track to be there by the end of the decade. But no public school is, apart from here in the ACT. That gap needs to close.

Today we were led by Uncle Wes, who is 101 years young, as we officially opened our Yarning Circle for NAIDOC week. An absolute privilege to be able to share this special occasion with local elders, family and friends on Dharug country. #naidoc2023 @kember_toni

Such a wonderful experience for our team to spend Staff Development Day at @BrewongleEEC, engaging in learning about local Aboriginal culture. It was a privilege to 'learn on and about country', and ways to further integrate Aboriginal education in our teaching and learning.
