Setting aside specific grants in question here, the fact is DOGE failed in its stated mission. Government spending is up. The government is more dysfunctional and spends more money. But this guy doesn't care. It's all about the glee of being seen as engaging in transgressive behavior. That's it. There is no higher principle. Nothing like patriotism or honor or any discernible conviction, just an awareness that he was involved with something that his friends say was "based" and liberals hated, and that is enough, even though it was a failure on its own terms. A whole generation of people have simply had their brains boiled by the new right to such a degree that they are happy to throw away their talent instead of putting it to good use, and here is one of them.

It's already happened. A great deal of people who were openly anti-Semitic ten years ago have moved back towards neutrality/peaceful coexistence with Zionists because anti-Zionism/anti-Semitism is now brown-coded and left-coded. The same people chanting "FREE PALESTINE" vote for Democrats, support DEI and mass immigration, and want to kill me for being white. The Israel/Palestine conflict is just an extension of their desire for a Rwanda-esque genocide, because they see Jews as white and Israel as a mini-America. Spare me your genetics charts "proving" that Jews aren't white. The left believes they're white and they've imposed this view as a reality that you must deal with. Does that mean Israel is ARE GREATEST ALLY or there aren't problems with our relationship? Absolutely not. But when one side is aligned with you on some issues and the other wants you DEAD, it's obvious who your true enemies are.
