The fact that none of the liberal media cares about the sex pest Massie stories coming out, and view this race exclusively as a battle against Trump, indicate several things. First, it should be obvious that liberals want Massie to win not just because he is anti-Trump, but also because he is quintessentially their ally. Israel is increasingly becoming a bipartisan issue, on both the for and against sides, but Massie doesn’t pose any threat to the leftist establishment outside of that; he’s massively pro-immigration, his gun advocacy seems to focus on making sure that “disenfranchised minorities” have them, and so on. Secondly, though, and far more important, the GOP should be able to see the way that literally the entire anti-Trump portion of the country is able to rally around some dumb hypocrite who calls out zionist funding and then accepts it on the side, whose largest donor is a pro-illegal produce company in California, who has opposed all of Trump’s *actually popular* positions (like the wall), and so on. Independents, Republicans who voted for Trump but now feel scorned, democrats, literally everybody who is questioning Trump and feels betrayed by the war is rallying behind Massie. All of them. Nobody cares that he’s a sex pest or a hypocrite, this is “Trump vs anti-Trump,” and people are increasingly choosing the anti-Trump side because they feel that they’re being betrayed on things that are so, so easy not to betray them on. Sooner or later, pretending that these issues don’t affect public opinion is going to stop working. Massie may well lose, but a President as popular as Trump was a few months ago should be able to call on his supporters to primary someone, and it shouldn’t even be close. If Trump still had the polling of mid-2025, he could sway the election 80-20 in favour of Gallrein. He probably still could have with the polling of Jan 2026. If this primary is absolutely anything other than a blowout in favour of Gallrein then that needs to be a huge wakeup call to the admin.
