Covenant University collects an average of 1.6M every year from about 6000 students. In 2017, Segun, a Building Technology student,was hit in the head and rushed to the school's hospital. It was reported that there was neither defibrillator nor oxygen in their hospital, and he lost his life . 9 years later, a final year student in his final semester also lost his life because the hospital didn't have something as basic as an oxygen tank. It was reported that they resorted to praying as opposed to the urgent medical attention needed to save his life.
