A 42-year-old man in Derbyshire named Tommy Lynch woke up to find his skin had turned bright blue. He was rushed to hospital and put on oxygen. A doctor wiped his arm with an alcohol swab, the cotton immediately turned blue. The colour wasn't a medical condition at all, but dye from a new set of unwashed navy bedsheets he'd been sleeping on for two nights.
