@rodmickleburgh People wonder the same about Carney and China. Our PM and his ministers csnt even bring themselves to acknowledge that forced labour in China exists. Odd, don’t you think

@sarobertsonca Why should someone living in Victoria or Saskatoon be clamouring for ( and paying for) a project like this. Crazy argument

Tom Mulcair on Pierre Poilievre's opposition to Alto high-speed rail: "Maybe he thinks he's going to get some votes out of this. But I've rarely seen... that it pays off to be against a big infrastructure project, especially one that Canadians have been clamouring for not just decades, generations."

Earlier this evening I spoke with President Trump and congratulated him on the successful launch of Artemis II.    We discussed the courage of the astronauts, including Colonel Jeremy Hansen, the value of cooperation in space, and developments in the Middle East conflict.

@DigcharS You think so? I don't see how that's even a remote possibility.

@MarkJCarney I'm thrilled to see Canada join America in such a historic voyage together in Artemis II. It's going to take more than Trump for all of us to forget how long our countries have looked out for each other. ♥️

@_scottreid @steeletalk Good thing we have a master economist at the helm to see us through tough economic times. With us already at the bottom of the G7 indicators, it can’t get too much worse

I must have missed the part where Trump said a ceasefire has been achieved. Or that the US is about to withdraw. This was a non-speech. This was Vietnam. This was a promise that the war will continue for God knows how long. Brace yourselves. The price of everything is going up.

@steeletalk It’s a blow to our auto sector. Hundreds of jobs lost and these cars are made with forced labour. You can’t be this uniformed, can you?

Remembering Ronnie Lane, born on this day in 1946. As the bassist for Small Faces and Faces, he helped shape some of the most memorable British rock of the 1960s and 1970s. What are your thoughts on his legacy?

Absolute humiliation for the White House. CNN's top journalist Christiane Amanpour confirms Russia just completely shattered the US naval blockade on Cuba. Putin sent a massive oil tanker right through America's backyard and Trump did absolutely nothing.
