Some snapshots from our music department assembly recruiting our current 4th graders for next year’s band, strings and chorus classes!

On Saturday, I had the honor introducing my high school choir director TC O’Brien as she was inducted into the @marylandmued Hall of Fame. She also guest conducted the Senior All State Treble Chorus! A @CCPS retiree and one of my personal heroes, this was a full circle moment.

One PROUD choral director today. Three of our @Diggs_ccboe Harmonious Hawks are representing @CCPS at the 2024 @marylandmued 5th/6th Grade Treble Demonstration Chorus! This state ensemble is back from its pandemic pause and they sound amazing!

The 2024 @FineArtsCCPS Elementary All County Chorus is in the books! An amazing concert. Thank you to Mrs. Helming from @NorthPointChoir for your fabulous direction, infectious energy and inspiring program of music! “Never be sorry to be who YOU are!”
