Dear Malam @ProfIsaPantami , as a fellow Muslim sister, I’ll sincerely advise you to consider returning fully to teaching and spreading the words of Allah. Politics is a dirty game filled with insults, betrayals, and disrespect, and honestly, seeing a lot of people disrespect you makes me sad because you’re an Islamic scholar and a mentor to many of us. You’re among the people teaching us about obeying Allah and reminding us that this dunya is temporary, but it seems you love politics too much despite how dirty and toxic it can be. No matter how good someone is, politics won’t spare them from criticism and humiliation. You’re already successful, respected, and wealthy. Sometimes protecting your dignity, peace, and deen is more valuable than remaining in political battles. May Allah guide you to what is best for your dunya and akhirah.
