My stance truthfully has nothing to do with analytics, because I'm not steeped in football analytics. Failing on *either* a 2pt conversion with 3 mins left or one with 30 seconds left, game is effectively over. But if I had to pick which one to fail on, I'd rather fail early to have more time to adjust.

How is going for a 2pt conversion, down 15, turning into an analytics debate? I feel like I'm losing my mind. You *need* two TDs, and you *need* to have a 2pt conversion in one of those two TDs. Extending your window of hope doesn't actually help you win the game.

@gregolsen88 Unequivocally false. Once you don’t get the original 2 you have essentially no chance of winning analytically. You kick the EP make it a one possession game because unlike 9, 8 can be scored on one possession. Put the game on the line when you have to and it actually means more.

Assuming kick the EP and go down 8 (he missed earlier EP), you may still need 2 possessions (8 is not 1 score) If you fail the 2 pt try the game is over. Bc u treated as a 1 possession game when its not Also, my odds of a coin being heads is greater flipping it twice than once.
