cooking stream was almost a disaster btw. i accidentally filled a pot of pasta too much with the pasta arm and flooded my stove (which is gas gg) so it wouldn’t turn on and to basically whip out this solitary e-burner and i played it off like nothing happened but the entire time i was hoping someone didn’t notice.

ANYWAY DID YOU KNOW THIS IS LIKELY DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF butyric acid; a chemical compound which is a natural byproduct of fermented fats, and it is chemically identical to one of the main compounds found in human vomit.
this can be found in many cheeses desiring a “sharp” flavor such as cotija and parmesan and can be made worse by heating and melting these fats which releases the vomit taste.
also. its an aged cheese. which i am allergic to.
