The Roman Empire didn't fall because of one invasion. It fell because the currency was debased until soldiers refused to fight for it. The Spanish Empire didn't collapse because it lost a war. The world is rough. The world is challenging. The world is cold. Getting through this tough terrain and coming out with all your faculties in order should be what defines you. But sometimes many are too broken to properly appreciate what it took to make it to the summit.
