I wish I were making this up. A Jew in my neighborhood just pulled me aside while I was on a walk and gave me this. Without asking him, he told me about the holocaust (including how 6 million Jews died). He also can’t believe how many “F***ing rednecks” and KKK there are.

Our daughters have freedom in Christ in many ways: 1) They can go to college 2) They can marry young if God leads them 3) God also calls some of them to singleness 4) Singleness is an honorable calling before God (1 Cor. 7) 5. Their identity is not in family but in JESUS

One of the problems with social media? The thing you probably most need to hear... is the thing you tune out, dislike, or openly hate hearing. The mom consumed by podcasts and conspiracy theories and what not doesn't like hearing that they are distracting her from her primary duties and real life and the things right in front of her. The theology thomist reconstructionist dude who spends huge amounts of time studying theo and more doesn't like to hear he actually needs to put the books down and find a gym or the mat. The politics junkie doesn't like to hear that perhaps he doesn't know as much or is running on a lot of conjectures and assertions without evidence about this or that person or issue... And the church junkie who is there 24/7 doesn't want to hear that he needs to care about the local elections in his county. So, let me encourage you, the things you generally don't want to hear are the things you probably most need to.
