MY GOZEN THOUGHTS (PLS SHARE UR OPINIONS IF U DISAGREE 🙏🏻) i've been seeing what some ppl are thinking and their concerns over past 1-2 weeks, so i'm gonna give u my outside perspective on gozen's current form. everything i'm about to say is purely my own opinion and will be objective. gozen has been dominating gc emea for almost 5 years and they got everyone, including me, used to it. so it's totally normal for ppl to have high expectations. but dominating something for that long is genuinely really hard. will gozen win this stage? i don't think so. could gozen get worse? i think yes. pearl is our perma ban and we're not good on haven. a map we actually like bind is leaving and our other perma ban ascent is coming back. so yeah, it's very possible. i also think there's a consistency issue. (i also don't even know if akita's wrist injury is fully healed) there could be other problems too, idk. BUT, these players aren't robots. problems will always happen and being a team means being able to solve them. being a BEST team is really hard. it's not that easy and it doesn't happen fast. M8 achieved this the best and they are super successful rn, huge congrats to them. sometimes things just don't go ur way and i feel like that's what's happening rn. for 5 years we were the fastest adapting, best team out there, but we aren't rn, which is normal cause u can't always do that. the thing ppl keep forgetting and underestimating is that Petra, who was one of the cornerstones of this team for 5 years, is no longer with Gozen. this isn't just a simple change. when someone leaves the roster and u bring someone new, it's not easy for the team to perform like they used to. losing one of the players who gave the team its identity is really tough. long story short, they just need time. i wasn't actually gonna talk abt this, but i saw some ppl worrying and this is just what i realistically think is happening. honestly, the fact that i even have to write this just shows how spoiled we are by the standards they set. they only took 3 losses, maybe will be 4 and some people are being way too pessimistic. i get it, some things look off. but the most important thing is going to gc champs in good form for gozen. ppl who don't follow closely might not know this, but they are genuinely grinding like 9-10-11 hours a day. pls just trust them!! it might be a painful process, but they've always bounced back and they will do it again!! they just need love 🤍 no negative thoughts, DEAL?!?!
