They may not have won anything yet, but things are about to change for them. Mikel Arteta has been with Arsenal for six years, and most of the players he met at the club are no longer there. I also don’t think they spent £2 billion replacing them. When you look at them today, the team is well balanced ,a strong starting XI and equally good backups. Now compare that to Chelsea. Three to four years into a project, we’ve spent outrageous amounts, yet we can’t even boast of a solid starting XI. What these owners and sporting directors have done to the club is beyond imagination. Despite all this, I still can’t be confident that, going forward, they will get things right. We could sack every coach in the world, and these problems would still repeat themselves. It’s not entirely the coaches’ fault , the ownership and the model is the real issue.

@VanityDC7 I’d argue the other Prem teams are the rugby teams, not Arsenal. Arsenal adapt to their environment. In the Prem, rugby is required. In the UCL, good football is required. Arsenal have shown they can do both. It‘s the others who forgot how to play football hence why they got KO‘d
