@CindyH87104 @jmcin9 I believe the criteria for schools closing is the wind (and rain) hazard for school buses (esp since the storm should hit when school lets out). Hence why UF (day cares) is (are) still open. No school bus issues.

@GovRonDeSantis Address the textbook racket that tenured professors seem to capitalize off students. Professors who produced their own textbook but charge a 200% markup over a regular textbook and make it a requirement.

- Core courses rooted in Western tradition
- Elimination of DEI/CRT bureaucracies
- Bolster civics-focused institutes at UF, FSU and FIU
- Additional accountability for tenured faculty

1) wtf does that even mean?
2) what does he think we do ("indoctrinate"? I'm pretty sure we all pride ourselves on teaching facts)?
3) this will *not* produce "world class civics institutes" (it will in fact do the opposite)
